Kitchens To Go built by Carlin Welcomes Katharine E. Mizla CSI, CDT as the company’s Director of Design & Engineering.

Kitchens To Go built by Carlin is pleased to welcome Katharine E. Mizla as the company’s Director of Design & Engineering. In this role Mizla will plan, direct, manage, and oversee the operations and functions of the Design and Engineering Department to ensure efficient and effective project management to meet the requirements of KTG clients and projects. She will also actively participate in determining and implementing the strategic direction of the firm and promote the KTG values of Integrity, Creativity and Quality.
Katharine is a highly driven professional and joins the KTG team with more than 35 five years working in various sectors of the foodservice industry. She brings extensive management experience including sales and marketing, client oversight, sales forecasting, budgeting, team building, and quality assurance. Most recently Mizla was Design Solutions Manager for Vollrath Company, LLC where she managed the design community, educating architects, engineers, and foodservice consultants about the Vollrath product offering. Prior to joining Vollrath, she was a Designer/Project Manager for TriMark SSKemp, the largest provider of foodservice equipment, supplies, & design services in the country. She also was the Principal of a foodservice design firm.
Katharine’s strength is her ability to lead and motivate personnel, creating a teamwork atmosphere, and achieving or exceeding goals and objectives paired with her ability to work outside of the box to resolve challenging or unique problems.

Katharine graduated with distinction from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration and holds a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis on Food & Beverage Management and Design. Mizla is also a member of several industry associations including the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) and the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
